Welcome…I’m so happy you’re here! And guess what? I thrilled to be guest designing with Concord & 9th this month! The new release products are super fun…and I’ve loved the opportunity to be their guest. Today’s launch day at Concord & 9th…and that means all the new products now available. So…let’s get started with the Beautiful Butterfly Pop-Up stamps and dies! Just look at this amazing bundle!
And then… the projects!
This set is everything you’ll need for large and small butterfly images…and I’m totally in love with the large image that gives you a fun, painted look! It all coordinates beautifully with Beautiful Butterfly Pop-Up dies, too. Speaking of the dies….you’ll love using the large butterfly die to create a popped-up butterfly. Check out all the details at the Concord & 9th blog!
For my first card I grabbed one of my favorite butterfly images…stamped it in a repeating pattern with my embossing pad…and heat embossed it all in three fun colors. I embossed the sentiment, too…attached it to the card…and added some sparkle!
This card was kind of a happy accident. Ha! I had cut the pieces for the large butterfly in white cardstock…and I had planned on making it as a pop up. I didn’t like the way it looked, though…and then I dropped it all. When I picked it up it had folded where it’s creased…and I LOVED the way it looked…so I went with it. I used the row of dots in the Beautiful Butterfly set for a bit of embossed gold in the background…and the sentiment is actually a die cut that you can earn free this month!
For this card I pulled out my favorite kraft cardstock and white embossing powder. I also used the Herringbone Background stamp…new for this release, too! I LOVE this stamp and the look it adds to any project! Seriously…plan to see it a LOT! Anyway…I created a large, stamped butterfly…tied on the embossed happy birthday sentiment…and added some bling.
Now…head over to Concord & 9th for ALL the details on the AMAZING new products available today…and there’s video, too! I just know you’re going to love it all!
