Hey, Valentine

Welcome…I’m so happy you’re here!  I’ve got a fun project to share with you today.  It’s simple…and inspired by something seriously sweet in this book by Jenny Keller!

I came across this book a while ago…and couldn’t resist taking it home with me.  Now…if you don’t have it…you need it!  First…her buttercream…it’s pure goodness!   And the parties and recipes are just so much fun! There’s an ice cream shop party…and one of the treats is brownies and buttercream…rolled in jimmies…to mimic ice cream sandwiches.  How CUTE is that?  So…I thought it would be fun to create heart shaped sandwiches…like this.

So…of course…there had to be some packaging…and a note card…which is where I started.  I grabbed a couple of narrow note cards…and actually placed the heart die on the card as the guide to create a watercolor chocolate heart.  I stamped the hey, valentine sentiment in red and pink…and that’s it.

I slipped a sandwich into a glassine bag…and attached the note card with a gold clip, a bit of DSP and ribbon…and added a tag.   I love how the note card is kind of a sneak peek into what’s inside the treat bag, too!

And just for fun…this!  Enjoy!

Thanks for stampin’ by!
