Welcome back! I’m super excited to share a fun project…bcause it’s not only fun, but it’s also a sneak peek from the AMAZING new Catalog! First…just check out this Catalog! It’ so GORGEOUS…and the PERFECT way to kick off our Stampin’ Up! 30th anniversary celebration!
As usual…what’s inside the catalog is top secret until June 1st…except that we’re allowed to share a few sneak peeks…like this.
Seriously…I love new a catalog so much that as soon as I get a new one I start getting the old out of the way so I can really enjoy everything new. This time…amidst the retiring stamps and accessories and dies…I found a few pieces from a recent Paper Pumpkin kit…tucked away nd forgotten. As soon as I saw them I just KNEW they would be perfect paired with any of the images in the new Animal Outings stamp set…and I think I was right!
I created this fun card by first stamping the elephant image on Berry Burst cardstock with black ink…and then again with VersaMark ink before adding clear powder and heat embossing. I then stamped the sentiment and small heart-ish image in black ink on Lemon Lime Twist and Crumb Cakes cardstocks. I cut the elephant using Layering Circle Framelits…the heart-ish image using Sweet & Sassy Framelits…and punched the sentiment with the 1-1/2″ Circle Punch. Then…I arranged the elements…added the thread…and placed it on the card base. Finally…stamped the heart-ish image on the card base in Crumb Cake ink and added the Faceted Gems.
