Welcome…and I’m so glad you’re here! I LOVE everything about the holidays…and I’m super excited that today is Handmade Holidays launch day. I have so much in store for this series…from cards to homemade treats…and literally everything in between! I’ve also set up a Handmade Holidays gallery with quick links to each Handmade Holiday project and post. Simply click on the Handmade Holidays sliding header to get there…or find it in the Galleries drop down menu. I’ve linked it to the Handmade Holidays photo above, too!
Today I’m sharing a card featuring the Concord & 9th Autumn Harvest Bundle.
Check out this bundle! It’s perfect for fall…and Thanksgiving…and stepping into the holiday season! Autumn Harvest is designed for masking…and the dies cut the images without a border. I wanted to use the pumpkin as the focal point…so I heat embossed the image to give the border a die cut would provide. I also stamped and die cut the leaves from the bundle.
Next…I cut the leaves from the Everyday Bouquet Bundle in black cardstock…and then created the focal point with die cuts, twine and a button from my stash. I cut a panel in white…stamped it with the thankful and blessed sentiment…and distressed the edges. I added a bit of gingham paper…the pumpkin element and the rhinestones…and then placed the panel on the kraft cardstock card base.
Thanks for stopping by…and please, stop often!
