Color Your Season

Happy Tuesday!  I’m popping in to share a couple of cards using the soon-to-be-released Color Your Season products…including the Blended Seasons Bundle and Watercolor Pencils.  There’s lots to share…so let’s get started!  First…a look at the AMAZING new products!

And about these new pencils.  I’ve talked about my interesting relationship with watercoloring.  I love a good watercolor project…but I’m not good at coloring as precise as I’d like to.  I’m pretty picky.  And it’s driven me nuts.  So…when the new Watercolor Pencils were introduced I was excited about new colors…but I debated whether I’d use them or not.  And then…I had an epiphany…about watercoloring…and I realized that I should just embrace the imprecise look that I AM good at.   And I ordered the new pencils…and look!  I did it!  I embraced my talent for  way-off watercoloring.  And I kinda love it!

This leaves card was SUPER easy!  I simply stamped and colored the image…and then stamped the sentiment.  I die cut the single leaf and attached it…and then added the pearls.  I attached a thin strip of DSP and the colored panel to the card base…and then tied on a length of thread.

This flowers card was created using the same process…including my embrace of the imprecise water coloring!  Oh…and I swapped out thread for baker’s twine.  I kinda love this one, too!
