crafty friends blog hop – featuring ellen hutson essentials!

 

hi…and happy monday!  i’m hopping with the crafty friends…and today we’re featuring the ellen hutson essentials line!  there’s so much to love about ellen hutson and the amazing essentials line…and guess what?  they’re helping us celebrate the crafty friends with a 20% discount when you shop through any design team member.  check out the details below!

 

 

i chose to use the everyday doodles stamp set and coordinating everday doodles dies.  i’ve been seriously smitten with this entire set from the beginning…and the ice cream image is over-the-top sweet!  so…i thought it would be fun use it to put together an ice cream gift…because, why not, right?  Now…an ice cream gift has to begin with ice cream, of course…so a card to an amazing, local shop named ollie’s is in order.  then, it needs a 3-1/2 x 5 note card…perfect for the gift card and a sweet note.

 

 

here, i simply stamped the cones in my favorite cone colors…die cut them with the coordinating dies…and adhered them to the card base.  i then stamped the sentiment (small sayings stamp set) in black ink and added black gems.  finally…i cut a color matching envelope.  there are several ways to add the gift card, too.  you can simply slip the card into the note…or secure it with a glue dot or two…or use a gift card die.  any way you add it, it’s sure to be enjoyed!

 

 

i wanted to add a little bit more to my gift…so I wrapped a few sugar cones in designer paper and slipped some sprinkles into a tiny bag.  i’ll package it all up in a brown bag and tie it up with a bit of ribbon…and it’ll be good to go!
