Crafty Friends Blog Hop – Featuring The Stamp Market!

Welcome!  I’m so glad you’re hopping with the Crafty Friends today!  We hop each month featuring a favorite company…and this month’s feature is The Stamp Market!  There’s SO MUCH to love about this company…and guess what?  They’re helping us celebrate the Crafty Friends with a 20% discount when you shop through any Design Team Member.  Check out the details below!

I’ve got projects galore…but first, a bit of back story.  I’ve said many times that Ina Garten…aka Barefoot Contessa…is my favorite celebrity chef.  I have learned so much from her over the years…and the way I cook has changed for the better, for sure!  One of my favorite BC lessons is the idea of “assembling” food as a way of prep.  In essence…you’d create a beautiful fruit and cheese platter by simply putting together a variety of fresh fruits and delicious cheeses in a way that’s as pleasant to the eye as it is to the palette.  So…assembling is the word the kept coming to mind as I was creating my tags.  The Stamp Market has so many amazing pieces that stand incredibly strong alone…but gather just a few pieces, and together they’re magic…like this!

Here…I used three simple pieces:  Jumbo Tag Die, For You Dies and Holly & Berries Die.

I first cut out the tag base and for in kraft cardstock…the y, o, and u letters in black cardstock…and then the holly and berries in green and red.  Assembly was easy…so I made a second tag…using striped  DSP in place of the black cardstock letters.  It’s a very different look, and I love them both!

For a second set of tags I grabbed two 4 1/2″W x 6 1/4″H kraft tags, the Nature’s Gift Die, and the Gift Giving Greeting Stamp.

I first stamped the to and from sentiments in black ink…die cut the stems, leaves and berries…and attached them to the tags.  I mixed it up, too…by using different shades of green for the leaves…and one black stem and one brown.

For this final tag duo I again used the Gift Giving Greeting Stamp…the as well as the large Tag’d Die and Dotted Tree Die…and a bit of DSP.

Every one so easy…mostly assembly with pleasing results.  Thank you so much for hopping with the Crafty Friends!  And now…hop over to see what my talented, Crafty Friend Sara has for you!  And here’s the entire list, too!
