Fancy Friday Blog Hop – No White Challenge!

Welcome to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop! I’m so glad you’re here! Fancy Friday is a super fun hop with some Fancy friends, and we’re all past or current Stampin’ Up! Artisans! On the last Friday of each month we hop with a new challenge…and this month’s challenge is to create a project without using white. Yep…using ONLY color cardstock and inks. Let’s look at my project!

I first embossed the card panel with the Subtle folder…added stitching detail using the the Stitched Labels Framelits stitch-look die…and then distressed the edges. I embossed the Stithed All Round stamp set sentiment on a bit of Blushing Bride cardstock using gold powder…die cut the sentiment using the coordinating large doily die…and then cut several of the same doily in coordinating colors. I placed the die cuts on the card panel, as shown…tied on a length of Linen Thread…and added enamel dots and gold pearls. Finally…I added the card panel to the card base.
