Welcome to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop…a super fun hop with my Fancy friends…who also happen to be past or current Stampin’ Up! Artisans! On the last Friday of each month we hop with a new challenge…and this month our challenge is to create something using our Occasions Catalog favorite.
My fave…it’s the Happiness Blooms Suite…HANDS. DOWN. Seriously…just look!
Now…I know this will date me a bit…but I have to say the bright colors and flower prints so remind me of my pre-teen fashions. Ha! I remember one dress in particular…a small, floral print button down with a large white collar. I SO LOVED that dress…and I was inspired by my memory of that little beauty to create this card.
I began by covering my card front with a bit of DSP…and then stamped a large floral image on a white cardstock die cut circle. I die cut a square “window” within a large, white rectangle…scalloped the edge…and embossed it for a bit of texture. I wrapped the embossed layer with navy twine…attached the stamped floral image…and added the enamel dots. Finally…I attached the white layer to the card front.
Actually…this was my first project when my suite products first arrived during our pre-order. I made several…kept one for myself…and the rest were mailed to some of my favorite people!
Thank you so much for stopping by for the Fancy Friday Blog Hop! I hope you’ll be inspired to create something with our own Occasions Catalog favorite..and I’d LOVE to see it! So…post it, using #fancyfridaybloghop when you share it…and let me or one of my Fancy friends know!
And now…click below to hop over to see what my talented, Fancy friend Elizabeth has for you. It’s sure to be FABULOUS!
Thank you for stampin’ by!

This is gorgeous Sue! Love the bold DSP print layered with the Whisper White. The scalloped edge to the rectange is a fun look and I love all your elements to your card. Thanks for sharing! Rochelle xo
