hi…happy friday! i can’t believe it’s the last got treats?…day five already! i know i’ve said it before…but i really have had a blast working on this collaboration with becky roberts at inkinidaho.com! i think it’s safe to say you’ll see more from us! in the meantime…let’s get on to today’s project.
i began the week with a box new to the kraft it simply store…the coffin box…and i’m featuring it again today. i love it so much…and i’m racking my brain for ways to use it other than for halloween. if you grab a few from the store and have ideas…let me know! the box comes in two pieces…the bottom and the lid…and it’s 3″W x 6″L x 1 1/2″H when it’s all put together. it’s a great size for tons of fun treats or gifts.
i was on a roll with projects that would be easy to make for a group…so i thought i’d keep it up today, too. i started by assembling the box bottom and lid…die cutting and attaching the glittery spider webs…and tying it up with a bit halloween twine from my stash. i then created the tag by adding the embossed eat at your own risk sentiment using black powder…cutting and attaching the cute black spider…and tying it to the box. that’s it. so easy…and just spooky enough!
and…i have a confession to make. this box was totally inspired by the halloween oreos i grabbed over the weekend. seriously…black and orange and spiderwebs. and did you notice that the cookies are spider webs, too? gotta love it! inspiration is everywhere, isn’t it?
thanks so much for stopping by for got treats? day five! if you haven’t done it yet…hop over to see what treats becky roberts has for you! you’ll be super glad you did!
