Welcome to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop…a super fun hop with some of my Fancy friends…and we’re all past or current Stampin’ Up! Artisans! On the last Friday of each month we hop with a new challenge…and this month we’ve been challenged to take you to the tropics!
So first…let’s check out my challenge project!
I had been inspired by a card by Julie Ebersole…and I knew I wanted to use that inspiration for this card. The watercolor background and the simple design are a perfect fit for my personal tropical vibe. That’s kind of what I imagine a tropical life might be. A clean and easy life…with lots of water in the background. Ha!
I created the background by pressing my acrylic block on to the Lemon Lime Twist ink pad…added a bit of water with an Aqua Painter…pressed it on to a bit of watercolor paper…and then stamped the striped image several times in Tranquil Tide. I created the floral bouquet by stamping the floral image a number of times on Flirty Flamingo cardstock…heat embossing the images using clear powder…and cutting them out using the coordinating dies. I arranged them…added a bit of silver thread…and placed everything on the watercolored card panel. Then..I repeated the stamping and embossing process to create the with much love sentiment…and attached it to the card panel. Finally, I added clear rhinestones.
Thanks tons for stopping by for the Fancy Friday Blog Hop! I hope you’ll be inspired to create something fabulous with your own tropical vibe…and I’d LOVE to see it! So…post it, using #fancyfridaybloghop when you share it…and let me or one of my Fancy friends know!

And…as always…have an AMAZING day!
