Welcome…I’m so glad you’re here! Today I have a pair of colorful cards featuring the beautiful Pretty Peacock Stamp Set with Matching Dies…newly released by Technique Tuesday’s Animal House Stamp Sets and Matching Crafting Dies for March.
I had a vision for this first card…so I started by inking up a bit of watercolor paper with of distress inks…spritzing it all with water…and then using black in to stamp the peacock image to (kind of) line up with the ink.
I then embossed the you are beautiful sentiment on pink cardstock using white powder…and added it using the mini stapler. I then placed the peacock/sentiment element on pink and white striped paper…and placed it on a white card base. Finally…I added a trio of black enamels.
I adore the sentiments in the the Pretty Peacock Stamp Set…and I really wanted to highlight just one for this second card.
So…I started by embossing the you are beautiful sentiment on black cardstock using white powder. I cut a circle into a white card panel…added a pretty patterned paper…and placed it on a white card base.
I attached the sentiment element…and finished by adding coordinating enamel dots.
