What to Make When You Hibernate – Eggs and Bunnies and Chicks, Oh My!

Welcome…I’m so glad you’re here!  This week’s hop name…Eggs and Bunnies and Chicks, Oh My…makes me think about spring, Easter, and even baby showers.  Spring hasn’t quite arrived yet…and I don’t have a baby shower to prepare for…so I’m sharing another Easter project featuring the Some Bunnies Stamp Set with Matching Dies.  This bundle is newly released by Technique Tuesday’s Animal House Stamp Sets and Matching Crafting Dies for February…and it’s just as sweet as can be!

These little bunnies have hopped their way right into my heart for Easter…and on to a couple of basket tags, too!  Oh…and I finally got a chance to cut into the AMAZING Miss Modern 6×6 Paper Pad by The Stamp Market.  I love papers so much…and these prints are at the top of my list of favorites!

I started by die cutting egg shaped tags in a cool, black and white retro print from the Miss Modern 6×6 Paper Pad …and then stamped and die cut the bunnies and carrots in white cardstock.  I then colored the carrots with a bit of Distress Ink…and embossed the hopping by with a happy hi sentiment on black cardstock using Opaque Bright White Super Fine Embossing Powder.

I added a red layer to the tag…and then attached the bunnies, carrots and sentiment strips.  Finally…I punched in the tag hole with an eyelet and tied on a bit of white baker’s twine.  And just like that…two Easter tags are done!

Thank you so much for hopping with us!  Now…head over to see what Tania has for you.  It’s sure to be fabulous!
